These 3-hour Sunday morning outings take us throughout the Greater Toronto Area, presenting clients and their dogs with fun and challenging experiences in a variety
of urban and wilder environments.

Field trips are suited for more advanced students of the Way of Life Method.

Reviews of Outdoor Field Trips

Testimonail 3 Cathy Mary

We can all take our dogs on solo outings. What’s special about Way of Life field trips is that we do this in a group guided by an instructor who is there to help and encourage. We are challenged not only to manage our dogs well in a new place full of distractions, but to do so in the company of other canines. I am always a little amazed at how dogs who are typically reactive or rambunctious settle down and cooperate within the group precisely because everyone is applying the Method. When we finish a Way of Life field trip, I feel a sense of accomplishment — I’ve grown, my dog’s grown, and we’ve both had fun.

I have participated in several field trips since we started the Method last year. My boxer girl, Siena, has a whale of a time, especially when we are in areas where she can be loose on a long drag line with all the other dogs. While I’ve found a few of the trips physically challenging, I like them too!
