Introduce your dog to us, bring your burning questions, and practice signature Way of Life techniques, including long line exercises, do something exercises, mind me exercises, and others. You will practice these exercises in a supportive and fun group setting, using various levels of distraction and socialization. Depending on weather, sessions could take place outdoors.

Seminars

Way of Life Method seminars include full-day events featuring opportunities to work your dogs and people-only half-day events. Seminars are designed to introduce you to the Way of Life Method if you are just getting started (Stage 1) or introduce you to the more advanced stages (Stage 2). You will discover the philosophy and practice of the Way of Life Method, get practical guidance on the changes necessary to heal behavior issues, deepen your bond, and work towards your dog's complete freedom and integration. The Way of Life Method takes us to the root cause of our dogs' behavior, makes sense to people, and resonates deeply with dogs.

Testimonials

The seminar was a tour de force! Souha is an incredible teacher whose passion for the mission is inspiring. She knows the Way of Life Method so deep in her core and it is obvious in how deftly she handled every person and behavior issue. Her message was clear, she was warm and supportive, people were listening and learning and left feeling more on course with their dogs.

~ Cathy C. (Etobicoke, ON)

Thank you so much for a great seminar today. It was a lot of fun and so very informative. The dedication that each of the participants had toward building a beautiful relationship with their dogs was both inspiring and heartwarming! I was very impressed with the professionalism of the session. I felt like I was back in university! Souha takes her expertise seriously and is able to express it with passion, personal experience, and scientific support. The event was very well planned and paced for both people and dogs. There was a ton of information but so well presented that we were able to absorb it all and ask questions freely. I loved how Souha encouraged participation from the group and made us all feel comfortable at expressing ourselves when it was our turn to ‘perform’ with our dogs. I am eager to attend the next session.

~ Judi B. (Markham, ON)

Prior to attending my first Way of Life seminar, we were living with two female dogs with a number of behavioral issues. The house was chaotic and stressful, so much so we had one dog on medication. My life was managing dogs 24/7 and I couldn’t imagine living like this for another 10-15 years. I attended that first Way of Life seminar hoping this would be the solution I was looking for and haven’t looked back.

We implemented the Way of Life Method and saw immediate changes in our home – the chaos and stress were gone! We are now about nine months into the Way of Life Method and the girls are progressing very well and are happy. The dog on medication is now off. The seminar we attended was an excellent event from start to end. It’s very well organized, fast paced, and fun! Souha provides all the information to get started on the journey with lots of time to ask questions. So grateful to Souha Ezzedeen of Way of Life® Dog Training for her ongoing support and commitment to enriching our lives and our dogs lives.

Testimonials

I’ve been a volunteer dog walker and foster parent for almost twenty years, so feel pretty confident in my knowledge of dogs. Yet, I still learn something new about dogs and dog handling in every conversation with Souha. With her advice, guidance, and encouragement, I’m moving from merely managing the behavioral issues of my rescue dog, to building a more confident, stable, and happy (and less reactive) dog and, more importantly, a stronger bond of love and trust between us.

– Wendy S. (Toronto, ON)

This is an ABSOLUTE MUST both for new dog owners (in particular) but also for those of us who have had dogs all our lives. The insight in into the canine mind and understanding of their motivations and drives is invaluable and opens up an entirely new and much more positive understanding of your companion animal.

– Sheenagh M. (Brockville, ON)

Although I have years of experience in dog sports with 4 different breeds, nothing prepared me for the shock of the misguidance I was imposing on my latest young rescue. My dog was happy in familiar environments, but under a lot of stress in any new situations I would expose her to. From rolling on her back when meeting people to hiding under the couch when it was time to get ready to go to training class, I felt my poor dog couldn’t be happy with the new life I was providing her. Furthermore, I didn’t want to be prisoner of my dog by preventing myself to do things I always love to do with my dogs, like visiting family and friends or attending summer festivals.
It was time to try a new approach. It became clear that I needed outside help. I bought Souha’s book, The Way of Life Method, and attended her online workshop. Even though I had read the first section of the book 3 times, the workshop allowed me, and others participating, I’m sure, to further understand the method. Souha’s simplification of her method by using every day situations made it easy to understand at which stage you and dog might be at, where you should be going, and when. The most valuable lessons to draw from this workshop are that you are not alone and that change does not come overnight. Patience is key. Souha’s book, her coaching sessions and any of her seminars or webinars are necessary to fully understand her Way of Life Method.”

– Carole L. (Aurora, ON)

I attended the online workshop with Souha Ezzedeen after I got her book, The Way of Life Method. This book is a must-read for any recent or future dog owner. It is, as the name says, a way of life with your canine companion instead of just trying to fix an unwanted behavior. Souha’s online workshop dives in great detail on establishing a lasting bond with your dog. She describes the ideas that society has put in our brains for far too long. She shows us the three simple and different stages of building a sound relationship with our dog: Child, Teen, Adult. And as it should be, each of these stages is building on top of each other; first the foundation, then the exposure, and finally the integration in your family.
I am now at Stage 1 with my new rescue dog who is still very much in the “toddler” stage although he is 5 years old. But I am determined to get him all the way up to be a full member of our family. It will be a long way, but with Souha’s book, her help and advice, it will be possible. I can only recommend to anyone with a dog to take her workshop…. and get her book!

– Beatrice M.W. (Etobicoke, ON)

Souha’s Online Workshop was warm, welcoming and encouraging. She was full of fabulous ideas and suggestions about transforming dog and human relationships, and turning your dog into your best friend, instead of a household pest! Her instructions were clear, and to many, comforting. We all know what a secure relationship feels like vs. one that leaves us uneasy. Thinking of establishing a secure, trusted parental relationship with our dogs, instead considering ourselves “owners”, made it possible for many to understand immediately the need to provide healthy boundaries and predictable routines for their dog. It was great to meet other people and to share stories about our dogs, and learn from each other. Souha was an excellent facilitator as well as teacher, doing her best to get everyone to participate. Thank you Souha!

Weekends are sacred to most people in the context of our busy lives. So, when the opportunity to take a live online workshop came up, the first thing I asked myself was: Am I willing to give up my already limited time for this? I thought about it. If it meant having a dog with fewer behavioral issues than my past 2 dogs (each living 12 years+) then the answer was a resounding YES! In fact, I found Dr. Souha Ezzedeen’s Way of Life Method online workshop so useful that I took a second one and learned even more the next time around. Her online webinar delivery is perfect for an overview of the WOL Method. It has many advantages such as convenience, varying degrees of privacy, cost-effectiveness, and an opportunity to connect with the author of the method directlt and ask questions specific to one’s situation. Dr. Souha is proficient at managing the entire audience and even stayed online after it was over to engage with participants who wanted additional time with her. For an expert of her caliber, the event is also cost-effective given the total hours of engagement plus personalized attention. A bonus was the fact that my partner and my teens could join (for free) just by sitting close to the computer. She is a true professional and has mastered the ability to capture participant interest (at any age applies to her human students too!). What I especially appreciated was the individualized time that was given during the workshop when specific questions arose from participants. Dr. Souha is superb at handling the flow of content so that overall online delivery progresses on track in an efficient manner despite the dynamic discussions that come up. In fact, one of the main reasons I decided to take this workshop for the second time was not only because there is more to learn but because I enjoy listening to the entire gamut of dog behavioral issues and can’t help but to feel a shared sense of camaraderie with the other participants. Highly recommended!
